Individual Trauma Therapy in Manchester CT

Individual trauma therapy offers a supportive space to process what you’ve been through and work toward healing at a pace that feels safe and sustainable.

Our clinicians use trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches that may include:

Trauma Groups

In addition to individual therapy, we offer weekly trauma groups when available. Groups provide an opportunity to build insight and healing in community, with the guidance of a trained clinician and the support of others who understand what you’re navigating.

Trauma-Focused Therapeutic Retreat (October 2026)

Our trauma-focused therapeutic retreat is designed to support deeper healing in a focused, structured setting. This retreat is thoughtfully created for individuals recovering from trauma, whether your trauma is recent or rooted in childhood experiences.

What to expect in the retreat

Small group setting: Hands-on therapeutic activities to explore emotions, establish strengths, and understand trauma’s impact; limited to 6 participants

Individual sessions: Evidence-based trauma approaches may include EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, IFS, CBT, CRT, DBT, and other modalities

Body-based practices: Calming techniques, trauma-informed yoga, or other practices to support regulation after therapeutic work

Intensive format: Includes 4 days of intensive 1:1 and group therapeutic work, with psychoeducation and trauma-focused interventions

Faith-centered foundation

This retreat model is described as a distinctly Christ-centered treatment option, operating from the foundational truth that your identity is in Christ and your value is God-given.

If a retreat is a fit, it’s recommended you have a plan for follow-up services afterward. This is not a one-time, fix-all service.

Insurance & Cost

Most of our services may be covered, in full or in part, by typical health care plans.

Retreat cost: The Trauma-Focused Therapeutic Retreat is listed at $2200. Insurance coverage varies but likely will not cover the majority of the cost. If you need help covering the cost, you can indicate that during registration.
