I love people! My love for this field began at a young age when I realized the brokenness and injustices that exist in our world. My desire is to help others heal and find true freedom from their trauma so they gain the ability to realize their God-given value. My own testimony fuels my passion for this work.
I graduated with a masters in social work from the University of Connecticut. Since then I have obtained my clinical license through the state of Connecticut. In my private practice I use CBT, CPT, EMDR and a variety of other modalities to treat each client based on their needs and goals. My desire is to help each client manage their mental health and trauma effectively so those things do not define who they are and what their lives look like. I have extensive experience working with complex trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and family systems with a focus on ages 12 and up.
Along with many years of private practice experience, I worked in education as a school social worker for 9 years. This experience allowed me to develop skills around serving teenagers, navigating the PPT process as a student and parent advocate, delivering professional development, restorative justice practices, social-emotional learning strategies, classroom management techniques and how to support teachers in working with students that have a variety of special needs.

Hello! I look forward to getting to know you!
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with an innate desire and commitment to help others. While I work with people from all different backgrounds and in all stages of life, I have a particular passion to work with teens, children, and their families.
My focus areas include trauma, family conflict, anxiety, depression, and self-esteem issues. I utilize a variety of evidenced-based treatment approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
I obtained my Master of Social Work degree from California State University San Marcos. I also hold a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Cairn University, with a minor in Bible. While these degrees are important, I believe it is my strengths-based, collaborative approach that may be the greatest asset I bring into a therapeutic relationship.
Reaching out for help is hard, and I commend you for taking the steps to care for your mental health. If you are ready to begin this journey, feel free to give me a call or send me an email and we can schedule your first session.

God has a beautiful plan and purpose for us. I have a heart and passion for supporting you, with God, to identify the ways in which fear, anxiety, hurts, pain, and aspects of life have impacted your understanding of who you are. Together we explore patterns, beliefs, and actions that are hindering you and work to apply the truth and uproot the lies. As we do so you will begin to have clearer vision and understanding that will lead to healing and transformation.

I consider it an honor and a privilege to sit with people on this journey of life. Life can have many ups and downs, and trying to navigate those alone can be daunting. I want to walk alongside you and give you the tools and resources that you need to live your best life. You deserve to navigate this life with the best toolbox of strategies to live the way God intended you to live. My own story led me to this line of work and my desire to sit with, advocate, and equip others for this world. I genuinely love people and getting to know their stories, and making those stories redemptive.
