Saying No Now Might Protect Your Kids Later

A new study in Finland suggests that limiting screen time during childhood while increasing time outside may protect a child’s mental health during their teen years. Researchers followed 189 children over an 8 year period of time finding that children who had their screen times limited and were instead active reported less stress and/or depressive symptoms during adolescence. With warmer weather finally here, now is a great time to say no to electronics and yes to the park!
